Weleda Healing Ointment - For superficial wounds, boils, abscesses and fissures on nipples

The Weleda healing ointment is versatile and supports the healing of various skin injuries and inflammations.It promotes wound healing in the case of superficial injuries and fissures as well as the healing of purulent skin inflammations with infections.It can be used to treat and prevent cracks on the nipples, especially in breastfeeding mothers.

The ointment helps with the rapid healing of small, superficial injuries as well as deeper and purulent inflammations.The active ingredients calendula, marshmallow, balsam of Peru, larch resin and Stibium metallicum praeparatum work as needed.In the case of boils, for example, it supports maturation, opening and rejection.In the case of superficial inflammation, it limits it, and in the case of cracked nipples, it promotes the rapid regeneration of dry, sensitive skin.

Area of application

Weleda healing ointment is used for superficial wounds, purulent-inflammatory skin diseases such as boils and abscesses, as well as to treat and prevent cracked nipples in breastfeeding mothers.

Use during breastfeeding: Apply Weleda healing ointment to the nipple only after breastfeeding and remove any residue before the next breastfeeding.

Ingredients of Weleda healing ointment: 10 g of ointment contain Calendula officinalis 2a Ø 0.54 g, Mercurialis perennis 2b Ø 0.8 g, Balsamum peruvianum 0.036 g, Resina Laricis 0.018 g, Stibium metallicum praeparatum 0.005 g.Other ingredients include refined sesame oil, lanolin, yellow wax, lanolin alcohols and purified water.

Contraindications

Weleda healing ointment should not be used if you are known to be hypersensitive to individual ingredients.

Dosage

Recommended use of Weleda healing ointment: Unless otherwise prescribed, apply to the skin in the affected areas 1 - 3 times a day.

Contains Peru balsam, sesame oil, wool wax, butylhydroxytoluene - please read the package leaflet.

During pregnancy and breastfeeding, like all medicines, only use it after consulting your doctor.

Please do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the pack or outer packaging.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.
