Area of application

1 Gram of the preparation contains 900 milligrams of omega-3 acid ethyl esters, including 460 milligrams of icosapent ethyl and 380 milligrams of doconexent ethyl.Other ingredients include 3-sn-phosphatidylcholine from soybeans, gelatin, glycerol, 4 milligrams RRR-alpha-tocopherol, soybean oil, medium chain triglycerides and purified water.

Contraindications

The medicine must not be taken if you are allergic to the active ingredient or any of the other ingredients.In this case, you should not take the product and ask your doctor for advice.

Dosage

Always take the preparation exactly as your doctor has told you.If you have any questions, please contact your doctor or pharmacist.For prevention after a heart attack, the usual dose is 1 capsule per day.To treat elevated blood lipid levels, initially take 2 capsules daily, which can be increased to 4 capsules if the effect is insufficient.The duration of intake is determined by the doctor.

If you accidentally ingest a large amount, no special treatment is usually required.However, please contact your doctor or pharmacist.If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as possible, unless it is already time for the next dose.Do not take a double dose.

Intake

Swallow the capsules with a glass of water and take them with meals to avoid unwanted gastrointestinal effects.

Patient information

The preparation is not indicated for certain forms of elevated blood lipid levels, such as exogenous hypertriglyceridemia, especially type I hyperchylomicronemia.There is limited experience in secondary endogenous hypertriglyceridemia, particularly in untreated diabetes, and in the treatment of hypertriglyceridemia in combination with fibrates.
