Summary: The myrrh tincture Caelo HV-pack is used for the local treatment of mild inflammation of the mucous membrane of the mouth and throat. The tincture contains 100 g tincture of myrrh (1:5 [Verhältnis Droge zu Auszugsmittel]) with an extractant of ethanol 90% (V/V). When the tincture is used undiluted, a slight burning sensation and taste irritation may occur temporarily. The use of myrrh tincture is not recommended in alcoholics, pregnant women, nursing mothers and children under 12 years of age, as no sufficient studies are available. The product contains 85% alcohol by volume. The manufacturer of the medicinal product is Caesar & Loretz GmbH, based in Hilden.
