Traumeel S tablets are a homeopathic medicine used to improve physical activity and relieve discomfort. It contains a unique combination of natural active ingredients such as arnica, calendula, witch hazel and comfrey, which stimulate the organism to heal itself. The exact therapeutic indication of the medicinal product is not stated as it is a registered homeopathic medicinal product. However, medical advice should be sought if symptoms of the disease persist. The tablets should be allowed to dissolve in the mouth three times a day, unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor. Treatment with Traumeel S should not last longer than 8 weeks without medical advice. Traumeel S must not be used in cases of known hypersensitivity to the ingredients of the medicinal product or certain diseases such as tuberculosis, blood cancer, inflammatory connective tissue diseases, multiple sclerosis, AIDS, HIV-infection or autoimmune diseases. Possible side effects of the medicine may include salivation, allergic reactions or hypersensitivity reactions. If side effects occur, the medicinal product should be discontinued and a doctor consulted. The medicinal product contains lactose, therefore persons with known intolerance to certain sugars should consult a doctor before taking it.
