Contraindications

Traumeel® S must not be taken if you are allergic to Achillea millefolium (sheep's gift), Matricaria recutita (chen), Echinacea (echinacea), Arnica montana (Bergwohlverleih) or other composite plants, one of the active ingredients or one of the other ingredients of this medicine.

This medicine contains lactose.Please only take Traumeel® S after consulting your doctor if you know that you suffer from an intolerance to certain sugars.

Dosage

Recommended use of Traumeel® S tablets: Unless otherwise prescribed, let 1 tablet dissolve in the mouth 3 times a day.Due to the ingredient Aconitum napellus, the intake of 2 tablets per day for infants up to 1 year of age must not be exceeded.

Traumeel® S should not be taken for longer than 8 weeks without medical advice.

The use of this medicine is not recommended for progressive systemic diseases (such as tuberculosis, sarcoidosis), systemic diseases of the white blood cell system (e.g. leukemia or leukemia-like diseases), autoimmune diseases (e.g. inflammatory diseases of the connective tissue (collagenosis), multiple sclerosis), immunodeficiency (AIDS/HIV-infections) and immunosuppression (e.g. after organ or bone marrow transplantation).

In individual cases, allergic reactions such as skin rash, itching, rarely facial swelling, shortness of breath, dizziness and drop in blood pressure have been observed for medicines containing preparations made from echinacea.Patients with atopic diseases (e.g. neurodermatitis, allergic asthma, hay fever) may be at increased risk of allergic reactions.Therefore, the medicine should only be used by patients with atopic diseases after consulting their doctor.

In individual cases, taking medicines containing preparations from echinacea is associated with the occurrence of autoimmune diseases.With long-term use (longer than 8 weeks), a reduction in white blood cells was reported in an isolated case.

Like all medicines, homeopathic medicines should only be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding after consulting a doctor.

Unless otherwise prescribed, let one tablet dissolve in your mouth three times a day.If necessary, Traumeel® S can also be taken over a longer period of up to eight weeks.

If you have lactose intolerance, Traumeel® S drops are also suitable.
