Luckily I had a bottle at home and took it straight away after a friend recommended it to me after a night with a cold and cough. I sprayed it not only in the crook of my arm, but also on my chest and down my throat. It brought particular relief to my nose, I kept my eyes closed and pointed it at my nostrils from below. Then I rubbed it in and inhaled deeply. What a liberating feeling. The cold was not suppressed, but it could feel the healing it needed. After that, the mucus in my sinuses was much better. I have now bought a reserve (this is possible because of the long shelf life) and will now take it from time to time as a preventative measure.
