Melissengeist H Hofmann's is a traditional herbal medicine used to support digestive function and externally to support skin circulation. It contains an alcohol content of 80% and should therefore be used with care. Pregnant women, nursing mothers, liver patients, alcoholics, epileptics and children should not use the medicine. It should also not be used on damaged skin, skin diseases and children with exanthema or on mucous membranes and the eye. The dose and duration of use should be observed according to the package leaflet. Side effects may occur, such as irritation of the skin and mucous membranes, cough irritation and bronchospasm, contact eczema and hypersensitivity reactions in the gastrointestinal tract.
