Instructions for use for TONSIPRET Drops, 50 ml

Tonsipret drops is a homeopathic medicine for the treatment of inflammatory diseases of the throat, especially acute sore throat and tonsillitis (tonsillitis). The drops contain the active ingredients Capsicum annuum, Guaiacum and Phytolacca americana and 55% alcohol by volume. The dosage depends on the age of the patient: - Adults and children from 12 years of age take 5-10 drops every half to full hour, at most 12 times a day. In chronic conditions, taking 5-10 drops 1-3 times a day is sufficient. - Children aged 6-11 years do not take more than two-thirds of the adult dose. - Children from 1-5 years do not take more than half the adult dose. The drops can be taken undiluted, keeping them in the mouth for some time, or diluted with a little water. For children, it is recommended to dilute the drops with water. The medicine should not be taken for a long time without medical advice. If fever persists for more than 3 days or rises above 39 degrees, a doctor should be consulted. Side effects such as gastrointestinal complaints, nausea and hypersensitivity may occasionally occur. If symptoms persist or change during treatment, a doctor or pharmacist should be consulted. The medicinal product must not be used if there is hypersensitivity to the ingredients. It should not be used in children under one year of age and during pregnancy and lactation. The drops should be stored at room temperature and have a shelf life of 12 months after opening the bottle.
