FIWA elast krepp Elastic Fixation Bandage is a flexible bandage with an elongation of approx. 100%. It consists of crimped polyamide fibres and is light, soft, air-permeable, non-slip, weave-edged, absorbent and easy to shape. This fixation bandage is particularly suitable for patients with sensitive skin. It has a size of 6 cm x 4 m and can be used for various fixation bandages, especially on joints and conical or round body parts. Due to the durable fabric, it can also be used to wrap splints and cooling elements. It is important to note that this item must be sterilised using a validated procedure before contact with open wounds. The fixation bandage should be stored in a dry, dust-free place away from direct sunlight. There are also some warnings, such as not to use the product if the packaging is damaged, not to reuse it and to respect the expiry date.
