Cetebe Vitamin C Retard 500 is a vitamin C preparation for the prevention and treatment of vitamin C deficiency diseases. Vitamin C is vital and influences the metabolism in the body. Cetebe Vitamin C Retard 500 is taken when sufficient intake is not ensured by the diet. The recommended dose for adults is 1-2 capsules daily, taken unchewed with water. Children and adolescents under 13 years of age should not take the preparation. The duration of use depends on the symptoms and the doctor's instructions, but it should not be taken for longer than six months. In case of overdose, a doctor should be consulted immediately and the intake interrupted. Side effects are possible, such as respiratory allergies, skin reactions and headaches.
