Varihesive Extra Thin is a hydrocolloid dressing that was specifically developed for the care of low-exuding wounds.This dressing features a unique hydrocolloid formulation that sets it apart from other hydrocolloid dressings.It also has a water vapor impermeable film that creates an occlusive, moist wound environment.

Composition

The wound contact layer of Varihesive Extra Thin consists of a triple hydrocolloid matrix containing sodium carboxymethylcellulose, pectin and gelatin.The outer layer is a polyurethane film.This product does not contain latex.

Indication

Varihesive Extra Thin is suitable as a primary dressing for all dry to moist acute and chronic wounds.It is particularly suitable for skin abrasions, cuts, skin cracks and for skin protection, for example for intertrigoprophylaxis.
