Isopropanol 70% (V/V), solution is a disinfectant suitable for various fields of application. It can be used for hygienic and surgical hand disinfection, for skin disinfection before simple injections and punctures, before operations and before punctures of joints, for disinfection of skin rich in sebaceous glands and for cooling wraps. However, it is not suitable for disinfecting open wounds. The solution contains 63.1 g 2-propanol per 100 g solution and consists mainly of purified water. Redness and slight burning may occur during application. The product should be stored away from sources of ignition as it is highly flammable.
