The Wellion® Safetylancets 28G enable easy and safe blood collection for measurement.The lancets have a predetermined piercing depth and are safely hidden inside the housing.This makes them ideal for needle phobics, older people and people with reduced fine motor skills or vision problems, as there is no need to handle a separate lancing device.

The Wellion® Safetylancets are ready for immediate use and always ensure the correct distance between the lancet and the skin.To use, the safety cap is removed and the lancet is pressed to the desired puncture site.

These lancets are not only used privately, but also often in the medical sector, such as in doctor's offices, hospitals and nursing homes.Due to the safety mechanism, a second use is impossible, which optimally protects both users and medical staff from needlestick injuries.

The diameter of lancets is given in gauge “G”.A higher number means that the lancet is thinner or finer.This means that a 28G lancet is thinner than a 23G lancet.
