Caraway oil is a relaxing fragrance oil that can be used in many ways. It is a 100 % natural essential oil that can be used in the fragrance lamp and can also be used as a cosmetic raw material for various products. For herbaceous-spicy fragrance experiences, up to 2 drops of caraway oil can be added to approx. 50 ml of water in the fragrance lamp. For feel-good baths, up to 3 drops of caraway oil can be mixed with 2 tablespoons of cream and added to the bath water. For skin care, up to 5 drops of caraway oil can be mixed with approx. 50 ml of base oil. Caraway oil is obtained by steam distillation and comes from the fruits of the caraway tree. It has a heart note with a tendency towards a base note and has a warm, slightly sweet, herbaceous and mildly spicy scent. It is important to use up the caraway oil within 12 months of opening. It should be kept out of the reach of children and the recommended amount should not be exceeded. There is a risk of allergic skin reactions on contact with the oil. It can also be fatal if swallowed or enters the respiratory tract and is harmful if swallowed. In case of ingestion, the Poison Control Centre or a doctor should be contacted immediately.
