Ingredients and origin

The carotenoids contained in carotenine capsules come exclusively from natural sources.Alpha-carotene and beta-carotene are derived from palm fruit extract, also known as palm kernel oil, which is used to make margarine in some countries.This extract is particularly valuable because its composition is very similar to that of carrot extract.

Lycopene is obtained from tomato extract, while lutein and zeaxanthin come from marigold extract.

Active ingredients and ingredients

Carotenin capsules contain the following ingredients: soybean oil, gelatin, tomato extract, humectant glycerin, medium-chain triglycerides as a separating agent, safflower oil, carotene from oil palm fruit, water, lutein, lycopene and the coloring iron oxide (E172) as well as zeaxanthin.

Carotenoid-containing plant extracts with beta-carotene from palm oil: 1.09 grams per 100 grams, 6.5 milligrams per capsule.

Alpha-carotene from palm oil: 1.12 grams per 100 grams, 3.5 milligrams per capsule.

LuteinFloraGLO: 0.96 grams per 100 grams, 3.0 milligrams per capsule.

Lycopene from tomato extract: 0.64 grams per 100 grams, 2.0 milligrams per capsule.

Zeaxanthin: 0.03 grams per 100 grams, 0.1 milligrams per capsule.

Area of application

Carotenine capsules are a dietary supplement that supports the protection of skin and eyes.Application is recommended approximately 4 to 6 weeks before vacation to protect the skin from sun exposure, especially for sun-sensitive skin and fair skin types.

Dosage

The recommended dosage is 1 capsule daily after a meal, starting approximately 4 to 6 weeks before planned sun exposure.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients, the product should not be used.
