Place the tick tweezers between the body and the head of the tick. 3. Grasp the tick between the head and the body. 4. Squeeze the tweezers with feeling. 5. Pull the tick out carefully, shaking it gently if necessary. 6. The tick is now intact in the tick tweezers. 7. Take the tick to the doctor for examination or destroy it (e.g. burn it). 8.
