Alcohol 70% V/V Hetterich is a disinfectant that can be used for hygienic hand disinfection and cold compresses. It must not be used for the disinfection of large open wounds. Special care should be taken to avoid eye contact as Alcohol 70 vol.% Hetterich may cause redness and slight burning. The use of Alcohol 70% by volume Hetterich together with other medicinal products shows no known interactions. Pregnant and breast-feeding women should ask their doctor or pharmacist for advice before using the medicinal product. Alcohol 70 vol.-% Hetterich is used according to the package leaflet. For hygienic hand disinfection, the hands are rubbed with the solution and kept moist for 1 minute. For cooling compresses, the solution is used diluted with equal parts of water.
