Galangal root powder Aurica is a pungent and aromatic spice from the Hildegard von Bingen kitchen. It is made from the ground root of the lesser galangal and is particularly popular in Thai and Indonesian cuisine. It is slightly reminiscent of ginger and is used to prepare meat dishes, sauces, marinades, compotes, baked goods and galanga honey. Galangal is also recommended by Hildegard von Bingen for heart and circulatory complaints, exhaustion and vitalisation. The product is vegan, lactose-free, gluten-free and contains no additives.
