Areas of application

Aurica pansy herb tea is used for mild seborrheic skin diseases and cradle cap in children.These skin diseases are caused by increased secretion of the sebaceous glands.If you have persistent, recurring or large-scale, weeping or purulent infected skin diseases, you should consult a doctor.

Contraindications

There are no known contraindications.However, preparations made from pansy herb should not be used by children under 12 years of age or during pregnancy or breastfeeding, as there are no sufficient studies on this.If you are allergic to ascorbic acid (vitamin C), you should proceed with caution.

Application and dosage

For use, an infusion is made with which compresses are prepared.To do this, pour about 150 ml of boiling water over a heaped teaspoon (approx. 1.5 g) of pansy herb and, if necessary, strain it through a tea strainer after 10 to 15 minutes.This application is carried out three times a day.In the case of acute symptoms that last longer than a week or that recur periodically, we recommend consulting a doctor.

Composition and mode of action

The medicinally active ingredient is pansy herb.The plant contains flavonoids such as viola quercitrin and violanthin, methyl salicylic acid, triterpene saponins and mucilage.These ingredients have an anti-inflammatory and soothing effect on irritated skin.The dried upper plant parts of the wild pansy (Viola tricolor) or the field pansy (Viola arvensis) are used for the preparation.

The medicine should be protected from moisture and stored in the dark.It may no longer be used after the expiry date.
