Information for use with the article Aurica Pansy Herb Tea Important information (compulsory information): Aurica pansy herb tea. Indications: Mild seborrhoeic skin disorders/milk scab in children. Note: Consult a doctor in the case of persistent, recurring and extensive, weeping or pus-infected skin disorders. For risks and side effects, read the package leaflet and ask your doctor or pharmacist. DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Pansy herb tea For poultices after preparation of an infusion. Indications: Mild seborrhoeic skin disorders/milk scab in children. Contraindications: None known. Precautions for use and warnings: No adequate studies are available on the use of pansy herb during pregnancy and lactation, or in children under 12 years of age. Preparations of pansy herb should therefore not be used by this group of people. Interactions with other remedies: None known. Dosage instructions and directions for use: Unless otherwise prescribed, make poultices with an infusion 3 times a day. The infusion is prepared as follows: 1 heaped teaspoonful (approx. 1.5 g) of pansy herb is poured over boiling water (approx. 150 ml) and passed through a tea strainer after about 10 to 15 minutes. Duration of use: Consultation with a doctor is recommended for acute symptoms lasting longer than one week or recurring periodically. Side effects: None known. Sweet medicinal tea for external use in mild seborrhoeic skin disorders and cradle cap in children. Aurica Pansy Herb Tea contains the dried upper parts of the plant of the wild pansy "Viola tricolor" or the field pansy "Viola arvensis". It is used for poultices and washes for inflammatory skin diseases due to increased sebaceous gland secretion and for cradle cap in children. The ingredients of the pansy have an anti-inflammatory effect and soothe the skin. To use, make poultices with an infusion of 1.5 g pansy herb and approx. 150 ml boiling water. Consultation with a doctor is recommended for acute complaints lasting longer than a week or recurring. No side effects are known. The medicine should be kept out of reach of children and protected from light and moisture.
