Instructions for use of Hawthorn leaves with flowers tea: Hawthorn leaves with flowers tea is used for the treatment of decreasing efficiency of the heart as well as for feelings of pressure and tightness in the heart area. The tea is used as an herbal heart remedy. The application of the tea is simple. One tea bag is poured over boiling water (approx. 150 ml) and left to steep for about 10 to 15 minutes. This tea infusion is taken three to four times a day. However, no more than the indicated dosage should be taken independently of the meal. In principle, the duration of use is not limited, but should be checked by a doctor after four weeks if there has been no improvement. Hawthorn leaves with flowers tea must not be used if there is hypersensitivity to hawthorn. A doctor should be consulted if the symptoms increase or if there is shortness of breath, dizziness, pain in the throat, arms or upper abdomen or water retention in the legs. Side effects are not known for the tea. The tea should be protected from moisture and stored in the dark.
