Korodin Cardiovascular Drops are a medicine used to treat dizziness due to low blood pressure, especially when standing up after lying down, bending over or sitting for a long time. They contain the active ingredients D-camphor and hawthorn fruit fluid extract. When taking the drops, the dosage should be observed; as a rule, 10 drops are taken three times a day. The drops can be taken on a piece of sugar or bread, or undiluted and dropped on the tongue. An overdose should be avoided. The medicine should not be used if you are hypersensitive to D-camphor or hawthorn, in infants and small children under 2 years of age, and in patients with bronchial asthma or other respiratory diseases. Use is also not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Possible side effects are headache, dizziness, restlessness, insomnia, palpitations, angina pectoris attacks and gastrointestinal complaints. The drops contain 60% alcohol by volume and should therefore be avoided by persons with alcoholism, pregnant women, nursing mothers, children and adolescents, and patients with liver disease or epilepsy. No special storage conditions are required for the medicinal product. It is available in different pack sizes.
