ASS AbZ 100 mg TAH Tablets contain the active substance acetylsalicylic acid and are used to inhibit platelet aggregation to prevent blood clots. It is used to treat unstable angina pectoris, as part of the standard therapy for acute heart attacks and to prevent further heart attacks. It is also used after arterial vascular surgery and to prevent transient cerebral ischaemia and cerebral infarction after precursor stages have occurred. The recommended dosage depends on the indication and is usually 1 tablet 1 time daily after a meal. The tablets are taken unchewed with plenty of liquid. ASS AbZ 100 mg TAH should not be used to treat pain conditions. It may cause side effects such as gastrointestinal discomfort, hypersensitivity reactions of the skin and bleeding in the gastrointestinal tract. People with certain medical conditions or allergies should consult their doctor or pharmacist before use. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should also consult their doctor before use.
