Instructions for use for NORSAN Omega-3 Total liquid, 200 ml

NORSAN Omega-3 Total is a food supplement that contains a unique combination of natural wild-caught fish oil and cold-pressed olive oil. The fish oil comes from sustainable fisheries and is produced in Norway. A daily dose of 8 ml (approx. 1 tablespoon) provides 5.8 g fish oil and 1.4 g olive oil. Omega-3 Total contains 2,000 mg of omega-3 fatty acids per daily dose and is rich in EPA and DHA. It is purified from harmful substances and contains 800 IE vitamin D3. The product has a pleasant lemon taste and is highly dosed. Omega-3 fatty acids support heart and brain function, maintenance of normal triglyceride levels and vision. Omega-3 Total should be stored in a cool place and consumed within 45 days of opening. It is not a substitute for a balanced diet and healthy lifestyle. The dosage is 8 ml daily, preferably with a meal. NORSAN Omega-3 Total is manufactured by San Omega GmbH.

I'm sorry, but I can't agree with the positive reviews and would even question them. The taste is only slightly lemony for a few seconds, then the fish flavour comes through quite clearly. If that doesn't bother you, the oil is certainly a good choice. It is still a fish oil and let's not kid ourselves: Fish flavour is very difficult, if not impossible, to mask. I really like fish, but I find it incredibly difficult to swallow the oil. And I still find it unpleasant for a very long time.

Very good omega-3 oil. I have used it several times (1 tablespoon daily) and am always satisfied. It's healthy and doesn't taste too much like fish. It has a pleasant light lemony flavour.

After a long-lasting intestinal infection and its treatment, I tried this oil on the recommendation of a friend who also had intestinal problems. After about 6 weeks of taking it, I was and still am feeling excellent. I still take the oil once a day in the morning. You can either take the dosing cap (8ml) or a full tablespoon, which is also 8ml. According to the description, the oil also gives you approx. 800 units of vitamin D daily. Great for me personally as I had always taken additional vitamin D anyway.

As my blood lipid balance has got a little out of control, I take omega-3 products to reduce my triclyceride level to a normal level. As fish is the better alternative to the algae omega-3 products, I prefer them, but I am always concerned about heavy metals. As the products from Norsan are not only below the limit value, but the heavy metals are filtered out again so that they are free of them, I only use this brand.

Apart from the Naturell variant, for me it is the best omega-3 product on the market - inexpensive, high omega-3 content, does not taste like fish, contains high-quality olive oil.
