Engystol tablets are a homeopathic medicine for the treatment of colds and flu-like infections. It contains the active ingredients Vincetoxicum hirundinaria Trit. D6, Vincetoxicum hirundinaria Trit. D10, Vincetoxicum hirundinaria Trit. D30, Sulfur Trit. D4 and Sulfur Trit. D10. The tablets should be allowed to dissolve in the mouth. The dosage of the tablets varies according to the age group. Children from 1 to under 6 years should take 1/2 tablet 1-6 times daily at intervals of 1/2-1 hour. Children from 6 to under 12 years should take 2/3 tablet 1-6 times daily at 1/2-1 hour intervals. Adolescents over 12 years and adults should take 1 tablet 1-6 times daily at 1/2-1 hour intervals. The total dose should not be exceeded. The duration of use should not exceed one week, unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor. For acute conditions, it can be taken every half to full hour. Engystol tablets may cause temporary skin reactions such as rash, itching or reddening of the skin, as well as gastrointestinal complaints such as abdominal pain or discomfort. If skin reactions or gastrointestinal complaints occur, the medicine should be discontinued and a doctor consulted. Engystol tablets should not be used if there is hypersensitivity to the ingredients. It is recommended to use the medicinal product during pregnancy and lactation only after consultation with the doctor. Children under 1 year of age should not take the medicine. Engystol tablets contain lactose and should therefore not be taken if you are intolerant to certain sugars. The medicine should be stored at room temperature and used within 12 months after opening.
