The active ingredients of Engystol® include 225 mg Vincetoxicum hirundinaria in potencies D6, D10 and D30, 75 mg each, as well as 75 mg Sulfur in potencies D4 and D10, 37.5 mg each.The product contains magnesium stearate and lactose as other ingredients.

Area of application

Engystol® is used for colds and flu-like infections.The areas of application are derived from the homeopathic drug images.

Dosage

For acute symptoms, adults and children aged 12 and over take 1 tablet every half to an hour, up to a maximum of 6 times a day.Once the symptoms have improved, 1 tablet can be used 1 to 3 times a day.

Children aged 6 to 12 years do not receive more than two-thirds of the adult dose.To do this, dissolve 1 tablet in approx. 150 ml of water.Give your child 2/3 of the amount and throw away the rest.

Children aged 1 to less than 6 years receive no more than half the adult dose.To do this, dissolve 1 tablet in approx. 150 ml of water.Give your child half the amount and throw away the rest.

Intake

The tablets should be allowed to dissolve under the tongue.For small children, the corresponding single dose can also be taken mixed with a little liquid.

Contraindications

Engystol® should not be used if you have a known allergy or hypersensitivity to any of the active ingredients or other ingredients.

Patient information

There is no adequately documented experience with the use of this medicine in children.It should therefore not be used in children under 1 year of age.

Pregnancy

Like all medicines, homeopathic medicines should only be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding after consulting a doctor.
