Cromo-ratiopharm eye drops single dose are a medicine for the treatment of conjunctivitis caused by allergies. They are used for acute or chronic conjunctivitis caused by allergies, such as hay fever or spring catarrh. The eye drops contain the active ingredient sodium cromoglicate, which prevents the allergic reaction of the mucous membranes by stabilising the mast cells. The drops should be administered 2 times a day with one drop each into the lower conjunctival sac of the affected eye. If necessary, the dose can be increased. The application is done by instilling the drops into the conjunctival sac of the eye. The medicine may cause a temporary deterioration of visual acuity during use. It must not be used in case of hypersensitivity to the active substance. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should consult a doctor before use.
