Due to their good tolerability, it is up to you how often you use the medicine HYLO COMOD® eye drops per day.According to the package leaflet, it is usually recommended to use it three times during the day.To do this, place one drop from the bottle in each eye into the lower eyelid and then slowly close the eye.If you wear contact lenses, you can safely apply the drops while wearing them.The manufacturer Hylo Eye Care recommends that you only use the eye drops HYLO COMOD® at least 30 minutes after inserting the visual aids in order to avoid reactions with any contact lens care products.You will definitely be able to enjoy your eye drops for a long time, because HYLO COMOD® is very effective and contains at least 300 drops.Furthermore, the drops have a shelf life of six months after opening.According to the manufacturer, there is no evidence that speaks against its use by children, pregnant women and breastfeeding women.

Mode of action

HYLO COMOD® Eye drops contain the sodium salt of hyaluronic acid, a substance produced naturally in the body that creates a very stable and long-lasting film of moisture (artificial tears) on the surface of the eye.The eyes are supplied with intensive and lasting moisture.The patented COMOD® multi-dose system prevents contamination of the solution by microorganisms.

Ingredients of HYLO COMOD® eye drops: 1 ml of HYLO COMOD® eye drops contains sodium hyaluronate 1 mg.Other ingredients of HYLO COMOD® eye drops are citrate buffer, sorbitol and water for injection purposes.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients, this product should not be used.

Dosage

Recommended use of HYLO COMOD® eye drops: The eye drops should be dosed individually depending on the user's condition and the recommendation of the ophthalmologist or contact lens specialist.Generally, 1 drop is instilled into the conjunctival sac of each eye 3 times daily.If the symptoms are more severe, the drops can be used more often a day.

Intake

Only use the product if the seal on the folding box was intact before the first use.Remove the cap before each use.Before using for the first time, please hold the bottle with the dropper tip downwards and press the bottom of the bottle repeatedly until the first drop emerges from the tip of the bottle.The bottle is then ready for use for the following applications.Hold the bottle with the dropper tip facing down by placing your thumb on the shoulder of the bottle and the other fingers on the bottom of the bottle.Rest your hand with the bottle on your free hand.Tilt your head back a little, pull the lower eyelid slightly away from your eye with your free hand and press quickly and firmly in the middle on the bottom of the bottle.This activates the mechanism for removing a drop.Due to the special valve technology of the bottle system, the size and speed of the drop is always the same, even when very strong pressure is applied to the bottom of the bottle.Slowly close your eyes to allow the liquid to spread evenly over the surface of the eye.After use, carefully close the dropper tip with the cap immediately.Please make sure the dropper tip is dry.When dripping, avoid contact of the dropper tip with your eyes or facial skin.10 ml of solution can be taken from the bottle;this corresponds to approximately 300 drops.For production reasons, a small amount of liquid always remains in the bottle.The contents of a bottle should always be treated by the same person.

Patient information

Because it is free of preservatives, this preparation is particularly well tolerated even when used over a long period of time.We recommend waiting about 30 minutes after inserting contact lenses before using the eye drops to avoid possible intolerance reactions that may occur due to interactions between contact lens care products and the product.

Pregnancy

Based on the available findings, the preparation can also be used on children, pregnant and breastfeeding women.
