BD Eclipse safety hypodermic needles are equipped with SmartSlip technology, which protects against needle stick injuries with a specially designed, integrated protective shield with a snap-in mechanism.The protective shield is mounted in a grinding manner and can be activated with one hand.You can hear and feel the cannula irreversibly lock into the protective shield without creating an increased dead space volume compared to conventional cannulas.The protective shield also has a grooved, ergonomically shaped handle plate that makes it easier to grip securely.The cannula hub is color-coded, making it easy to identify the cannula size.
