Directions for use of the Nyda lice and nit comb made of metal: The Nyda metal lice and nit comb is suitable for removing and identifying head lice, larvae and nits. It enables a faster and more effective inspection of the scalp hair compared to purely visual inspections. After treatment with Nyda, the comb facilitates the removal of killed lice and nits. The Nyda lice and nit comb has a small distance between the tines and rounded ends, which allows thorough and gentle treatment of the scalp. This comb can be prescribed by a paediatrician together with an anti-lice treatment, such as Nyda. The lice comb is reimbursable for children up to 12 years of age and for adolescents with developmental disabilities up to 18 years of age. Function and features of the lice comb: A lice comb is the most appropriate tool for diagnosing head lice infestation. The comb can be used to remove live and dead lice from the hair at any stage.
