Instructions for use of the article UrgoK2 Compression System 8 cm: - UrgoK2 is a two-component compression system with the exclusive technology of the PresSure system. - The compression pressure of approx. 40 mmHg is already achieved from the first application. - The massage effect during walking supports venous return and reduces oedema. - The compression system offers high wearing comfort during the day and at night for better patient adherence. - It can be worn for up to 7 days and has dimensions of 8 cm for an ankle circumference of 25-32 cm. - Before use, the ankle-brachial pressure index should be above 0.8. - In diabetes, heart failure or advanced microvasculopathy, the compression system should be used under medical observation and after adequate treatment. - If infectious dermatosis is present in the area surrounding the ulcer, the infection should be treated before compression therapy is started. - In rare causes of lower leg ulcers (vasculitis, haemopathy, pyoderma gangraenosum), the compression system should be discussed with a specialist. - The effectiveness has been tested and validated for joint use by KTECH and KPRESS . - The PresSure system facilitates the application of the bandages to achieve the recommended compression pressure. - A doctor should be consulted if there is pain when wearing the compression system.
