Instructions for use of the article Askina short-stretch bandage 8 cmx5 M Askina short-stretch bandage is mainly used in compression therapy and lymphology. It is sterilisable, air-permeable and made of 100% cotton. The bandage has a stretch behaviour of ≥ 90% longitudinal elasticity. It is mainly used for the treatment of lymphoedema, lymphatic congestion, varicose symptom complex, sprains, contusions, dislocations and sports injuries of the postural and musculoskeletal system. Askina short-stretch bandage can also be used for chronic venous insufficiency, primary and secondary varicosis, postoperatively after vein surgery or vein sclerotherapy as well as for leg ulcers.
