Directions for use of the article Uniselen 100 NE tablets: Uniselen 100 NE Tablets are a food supplement containing the trace element selenium in the form of sodium selenite. Selenium is an essential trace element that the body needs for various functions, including protecting the cells from harmful environmental influences and strengthening the immune defence. An adequate intake of selenium is therefore important. According to the German Nutrition Society, the recommended daily intake for healthy adults is 60 to 70 µg. Uniselen 100 NE tablets contain 100 µg selenium per tablet (corresponding to 220 µg sodium selenite). The tablets can be taken daily and should be taken with sufficient liquid with a meal. They should be stored in a dry place and protected from sunlight. Uniselen 100 NE tablets are gluten-free, free from fructose, yeast, lactose and artificial flavourings and, by law, free from preservatives.
