Mode of action

The Softclix lancing device makes regular blood sugar measurement as pleasant and easy as possible.The piercing depth can be adjusted individually, depending on the thickness of the skin and the amount of blood required.By choosing the lowest possible puncture depth, puncture and after-pain can be significantly reduced;Scarring of the finger tissue is also minimized.The lancing device is handy and easy to use.After use, the lancets can be easily removed by ejecting the lancet at the push of a button.

Dosage

Recommended use of Accu Chek Softclix black: Push the lancet in until it reaches the holder.Put on the device cap and select the penetration depth by turning the cap.Press the clamping head as far as it will go.Place the lancing device at the desired puncture site and press the release button.Please refer to the device description for more detailed instructions.

Cleaning

Wipe the lancing device once a week with a cloth moistened with 70% ethanol or 70% isopropanol (available at the pharmacy).Additionally, the inside of the cap should be cleaned with a cotton swab that has also been moistened with 70% ethanol or 70% isopropanol.Then let the lancing device dry thoroughly.Do not immerse the lancing device in the cleaning fluid.
