Capsi-med heat patch

Capsi-med heat plaster is used for pain therapy and contains the active ingredient nonivamide.It is available without a prescription and is suitable for relieving muscle pain in the spine area, such as the neck, chest and back region.The plaster provides soothing warmth, activates body heat and supports the treatment of rheumatic complaints as well as lumbago and muscle tension.

Areas of application

The Capsi-med heat plaster is used for local treatment to relieve muscle pain in the spine area.It is intended for use in adults.

Composition

A medical plaster measuring 11 cm x 18 cm contains the following ingredients: 2.43 mg nonivamide as a medicinally active ingredient.The other ingredients include natural rubber, wheat flour, rosin, rosin glycerol ester, wool wax, polyvinyl isobutyl ether, thin paraffin, butylhydroxytoluene (Ph. Eur.), cotton (plaster carrier) and paper siliconized on one side (plaster cover).

Contraindications

Capsi-med heat plaster should not be used on damaged skin or wounds.It must also not be used if you are hypersensitive to pepper preparations or any of the plaster components.

Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding

The patch must not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding as there is no clinical experience.

Dosage, type and duration of use

A plaster should be placed on the painful area of the body every morning.The length of stay is a maximum of 8 hours.Before applying again to the same area of skin, a period of 12 hours must be waited.Treatment can be continued until pain relief, up to 3 weeks if necessary.Before applying the patch, the relevant area of skin must be thoroughly cleaned and dried.

Overdose and other application errors

If the warming effect is felt to be too strong, the treatment should be stopped.If you experience any symptoms, you should consult a doctor.If any side effects are observed that are not listed here, please inform your doctor or pharmacist.

Note on durability

The expiry date of the medicine is printed on the sealed packaging.Do not use the patch after this date.Do not store the patch above 25°C.
