The cherry stone pillow is a traditional home remedy that is also known as a dry hot water bottle.It consists of cherry stones that, when heated in the microwave or oven, become charged with heat and release it in a targeted manner.Cooled from the freezer, it can also be used for cold therapy.

Application

To heat the cherry stone pillow, it can be heated in the oven at 150°C for around 8 minutes or in the microwave at 600 watts for around 1.5 minutes.As a cold compress, it is packed in a plastic bag and placed in the freezer.

Areas of application

The cherry stone pillow is used in various medical areas.In internal medicine, it can be warmed for intestinal disorders and bronchitis to promote mucus solution.When cooled, it helps with phlebitis, headaches and to relax and improve blood circulation.In traumatology it is used as a cold compress to reduce swelling and decongestion after joint and soft tissue injuries.

No prescription is required for this product.There is a risk of fire if overheated.The cherry stone pillow should not be heated on the grate.If it is not completely dried, mold can form.It is not a toy and is not suitable for consumption.In the beginning there may be a smell that develops when heated and disappears over time.

Cleaning

The cherry stone pillow can be hand washed at 30°C.It must be dried slowly and completely, with a drying time of at least 36 hours on the heater or in the sun recommended.It should be turned at regular intervals.
