The cherry stone pillow is a traditional home remedy that is also known as a dry hot water bottle.It comes from Switzerland and is used for both heat and cold therapy.By heating in the microwave or oven, the cherry stones store the heat and release it to the desired location in a calming and relaxing way.It can also be used from the freezer to apply cold.

Size: 14x55cm.Suitable for adults.The cover is made of cotton and can be hand washed.

Areas of application/intended purpose

Heat treatment: The cherry stone pillow can be used for lumbago, menstrual pain, sore muscles, rheumatic pain, back pain, runny nose, cold and tension.

Cold treatment: It is suitable for treating bruises, inflammation, insect bites, hangover symptoms, headaches, minor burns, migraines, bruises, swelling, dislocations, sprains, tennis elbow and strains.

Use as a heat pad

Heating in the oven: With a fan without preheating to 130 °C for about 3 minutes on the middle rack.With bottom and top heat without preheating to 150 °C for about 3 minutes on the middle rack.Use baking paper as a base while heating and add a cup of water to prevent the kernels from drying out.

Heating in the microwave: Heat at around 600 watts for around 30 seconds.Place a cup of water in the microwave.If necessary, shake the pillow well and continue to heat it in 15 second intervals until the desired warmth is achieved.Make sure the microwave plate is clean and rotates freely.For higher microwave powers, reduce the power or time.

Heating on the radiator: If less heat is required, the cushion can be heated on the radiator.

Use as a cold cushion

Place the pillow in the refrigerator or freezer for several hours.Pack it airtight to avoid foreign smells.

Cleaning and storage

After use and before washing, allow the pillow to air dry completely and store in a dry place to avoid mold growth.
