Description

Ibuprofen Sophien 400 is a pain-relieving, anti-inflammatory and fever-reducing medicine from the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).It is used for mild to moderate pain, such as period pain, headache, toothache and fever.No prescription is required for this product.

Application

Adolescents aged 12 and over (from 40 kg) and adults can take half to a whole tablet if necessary.The maximum total dose is three tablets within 24 hours.Children between 6 and 9 years old (20-29 kg) are allowed to take half a tablet, although the maximum daily dose should not exceed one and a half tablets.Children between 10 and 12 years (30-39 kg) are allowed to take a maximum of two tablets per day.The interval between each dose should be at least six hours.

Ingredients

One film-coated tablet contains 400 mg ibuprofen.The other ingredients are lactose monohydrate, polyvinylpyrrolidone, corn starch, colloidal silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, macrogol, talc, titanium dioxide and polymethacrylate.

Notes

With prolonged use of painkillers, headaches may occur, which should not be treated with increased doses of the drug.Habitual use of painkillers can cause permanent kidney damage.The medicine contains lactose.Do not use the medicine after the expiry date stated on the package.
