Thomapyrin INTENSIV tablets are a painkiller used to treat acute headaches and migraine attacks in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over.The product is available without a prescription.

Thomapyrin INTENSIV tablets are used for acute headaches, tension headaches and migraine attacks (with and without aura).The active ingredient combination of acetylsalicylic acid, paracetamol and caffeine is specifically tailored to the treatment of severe headaches and migraines.

Active ingredients and other ingredients

The active ingredients in Thomapyrin INTENSIV tablets are acetylsalicylic acid (250 mg), paracetamol (250 mg) and caffeine (50 mg).The other ingredients include lactose monohydrate, stearic acid and corn starch.

Dosage and application

Adolescents aged 12 and over and adults can take 1-2 tablets up to 3 times a day, 4-8 hours apart.The tablets should be swallowed whole with plenty of liquid.For a quicker effect, the tablet can also be dissolved in a little liquid.The maximum daily dose is 6 tablets and should not be exceeded.

Important notes

Thomapyrin INTENSIV tablets should not be taken for longer than 3-4 days without medical advice.You should not consume excessive caffeine while taking it.People with hypersensitivity to the ingredients, stomach or duodenal problems, increased bleeding tendency or certain previous illnesses should not use the product or consult a doctor or pharmacist beforehand.

Side effects

Possible side effects include gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, heartburn and abdominal pain.Other possible side effects include headache, dizziness, nervousness, delirium, insomnia, drowsiness, tremor, hearing impairment, tinnitus, visual impairment, skin hypersensitivity reactions, increased pulse rate, heart palpitations, blood clotting disorders and bleeding.
