Summary: Avene Moisturising Self-Tanner is a delicate melting gel that gradually gives the skin a luminous and even tan. It contains a light, melting texture with a light golden hue and moisturises. The product is especially suitable for sensitive skin. It should be applied thinly and evenly to a cleansed face and body, and hands should be washed thoroughly after application. Note, however, that the self-tanner does not provide protection from the sun's harmful rays. Before applying the self-tanner, it is recommended to use Avene's mild cleansing scrub. Some people find the smell of tanning creams unpleasant, but this smell only develops in combination with the amino acids contained in the sweat. The active ingredients contained DHA-dihydroxyacetone and erythrulose are responsible for the natural tanning of the upper layers of the skin, while the pro-tocopherol contained protects the skin from cell damage and glycerine provides intensive moisture. The Avene self-tanner is also suitable for sensitive skin, vitiligo and chloasma. It is important to note that self-tanners do not offer protection against UV-radiation.
