Instructions for use for Abnobaviscum Quercus 0.02 mg ampoules (8 pieces)
Area of application
This anthroposophical medicine is used as a supplementary treatment for various tumor diseases.According to the anthroposophical knowledge of humanity and nature, it serves to activate the form and integration forces in adults in order to dissolve independent growth processes and reintegrate them into the body. This can be used for malignant tumor diseases, including those with accompanying disorders of the blood-forming organs, for benign tumor diseases, to prevent relapses after tumor operations and for preliminary stages of certain cancers (defined precancerous lesions).
Active ingredients / ingredients / ingredients
The injection solution contains the following active ingredients: 0.015 mg oak mistletoe pressed juice and 0.02 mg mistletoe herb. The following excipients are also included: Viscum album (hom./anthr.), ascorbic acid, disodium hydrogen phosphate 2-water, sodium dihydrogen phosphate 1-water and water for injection purposes.
Contraindications
The preparation must not be used if you have known allergies to mistletoe preparations. For acute inflammatory or highly febrile illnesses (body temperature above 38°C), treatment should only be started or continued after the fever or inflammation has subsided. Its use is also not recommended for chronic granulomatous diseases, autoimmune diseases with severe symptoms and those under immunosuppressive therapy, as well as for hyperthyroidism with palpitations.
Dosage
Treatment typically begins with a strength of 0.02 mg three times weekly. The dosage is then gradually increased until the optimal dose is reached. The individual dosage depends on the reaction situation and is determined by the doctor. The potency levels D 10 - D 30 are used according to individual indications. The optimal dose is determined by observing various reactions, such as changes in subjective well-being, temperature reactions, immunological reactions and local inflammatory reactions at the injection site.
In the maintenance phase, the individual dose is maintained or gradually increased. If reactions are severe, the dose can be reduced or changed to a lower potency level. The dosage should be reviewed at intervals of 3 - 6 months. There are no specific dosage recommendations for impaired kidney function; general experience has shown no need for dosage adjustment.
The duration of treatment is not limited and is determined by the doctor. It depends on the risk of tumor recurrence and the individual condition of the patient.Treatment can last several years, with breaks of increasing length.
In the event of application errors, such as a dose that is too high, the next injections should be given at a reduced dosage.Missed applications should be continued according to the normal therapy schedule. If use is discontinued, therapy must be restarted with the low initial dosage.
Intake
The subcutaneous injection should, if possible, be carried out near the tumor or metastasis or in different parts of the body.Do not inject into inflamed skin areas or radiation areas. The injection technique should be learned by an experienced person. The ampoules should be injected immediately after opening and should not be used for subsequent injections. For potency levels D 10, D 20 and D 30, in special cases the dose can be mixed into an infusion solution and slowly infused intravenously.
Patient information
Particular caution is required when increasing the dose to avoid allergic hypersensitivity reactions. After breaks in therapy, the willingness to react may change, so the starting dose should be determined by the doctor. In the case of primary brain and spinal cord tumors or brain metastases with a risk of increased intracranial pressure, the preparation should only be used if specifically prescribed by a doctor. Before the injection, the ampoule should be briefly warmed in your hand.
It is not known whether the drug affects the ability to drive or use machines. However, if symptoms such as fever are associated with use, you should refrain from driving or operating machines until these symptoms have subsided.
