Biomagnesin® MADAUS is a magnesium preparation that is used for magnesium deficiency.It helps relieve muscle spasms caused by such deficiency.The lozenges have a lemony and fresh taste, can be easily taken on the go and are free of colorings and preservatives.

Area of application

Biomagnesin® MADAUS is used for magnesium deficiency if this is the cause of muscle activity disorders.These include neuromuscular disorders and leg cramps.

Each lozenge contains 66 mg magnesium hydrogen citrate-3-water and 265 mg magnesium hydrogen phosphate-3-water.This corresponds to a total content of 43 mg magnesium ion per tablet.The preparation also contains the following excipients: lemon oil, citric acid (anhydrous), macrogol 8000, magnesium stearate, mannitol, povidone K29-32, saccharin sodium, highly disperse silicon dioxide and vanillin.

Contraindications

Biomagnesin® MADAUS should not be used in cases of severe kidney excretion disorders, cardiac conduction disorders (AV block) or known hypersensitivity to the active ingredients or any of the other ingredients.

Dosage

Always take Biomagnesin® MADAUS exactly as directed.Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.The usual initial dose for adults and adolescents aged 12 and over is 4 lozenges 3 times a day before meals.Afterwards, a maintenance dose of 2-3 lozenges can be taken 3 times a day.The daily dose can also be distributed in smaller individual doses throughout the day.There are insufficient data for children under 12 years of age.

Intake

The tablets should be allowed to dissolve in the mouth before eating.

No special caution is required when taking Biomagnesin® MADAUS .No special precautions are required regarding the ability to drive and use machines.

Pregnancy

There are no data on the use of Biomagnesin® MADAUS during pregnancy.
