ES-Compresses sterile in size 5x5 cm are soft and absorbent gauze compresses used for general wound care and initial treatment. They are also suitable for minor surgical procedures. The dressings are made of gauze EN 14079 and have 17 strands. They have folded edges, so that they can be opened several times and used in larger formats without disturbing threads at the edges. The compresses are air-permeable, soft and pliable and available in different layers. They are sterilely packed and sealed in a folding box with 5 pieces each. A bulk pack contains 20 folding boxes. The ES-compresses are used for the treatment of soiled, infected and highly exuding wounds. They are also used as swabs and compresses for minor surgical procedures.
