Store the test strips in a cool, dry place between 5°C and 30°C.Do not open the test strip vial until you are ready to remove a test strip and take a measurement.Use the test strip immediately after removing it from the tube, especially in high humidity environments.Be sure to close the tube cap tightly immediately after collection to avoid contamination and damage.Store test strips only in the original tube.Do not put the used test strip back into the tube after a measurement.Never use a test strip that has already had blood or control solution applied to it.Do not use bent or damaged test strips for testing.With clean, dry hands you can touch the test strip anywhere.Do not bend, cut, or alter the test strip in any way.When opening a new test strip tube for the first time, write the disposal date on the label.
