Instructions for use for NICOTINELL Chewing gum Cool Mint 4 mg, 96 pcs
Directions for use of Nicotinell Cool Mint 4 mg Chewing Gum Nicotinell Chewing Gum 4 mg Cool Mint is a chewing gum containing the active ingredient to relieve nicotine withdrawal symptoms in nicotine addicts and to support smoking cessation. It contains the active ingredient nicotine and is absorbed slowly through the oral mucosa. The chewing gum can be used to gradually reduce smoking consumption and achieve smoking cessation. Counselling and supportive measures usually increase success rates. The dosage of Nicotinell chewing gum depends on the severity of the nicotine dependence. For smokers with a strong or very strong dependence, as well as for smokers for whom other attempts to stop smoking have failed or a relapse is imminent, the use of Nicotinell Chewing Gum 4 mg is recommended. In all other cases, the use of Nicotinell Chewing Gum 2 mg is recommended. Special counselling can help you choose the right dosage. Adults and older people should chew one Nicotinell gum at a time if they feel the need to smoke. No more than one gum should be used per hour and no more than 15 gums should be used per day. It is recommended to chew the gum slowly and place it between the gum and cheek to achieve a gradual release of nicotine. The duration of use of Nicotinell chewing gum is usually at least 3 months. After 3 months, the number of chewed gums should be gradually reduced until only 1-2 gums are taken per day. For some former smokers, longer use may be necessary to avoid relapse. Nicotinell chewing gum should not be used in people under 18 years of age without a doctor's recommendation. Side effects such as increased salivation, irritation of the mouth and throat and hiccups may occur. In the event of an overdose, symptoms such as nausea, dizziness, headache and circulatory disorders may occur. In such cases, a doctor should be consulted. Nicotinell chewing gum should not be used in case of hypersensitivity to the ingredients as well as in case of existing cardiovascular diseases, certain gastrointestinal diseases and other health problems. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult a doctor before use. Please read the package leaflet carefully and ask your doctor or pharmacist if you have any further questions.Medicines Reviews
