Canina® CANHYDROX GAG is a specially developed supplementary food for dogs that is particularly suitable for large and heavy breeds.It provides high-quality care for connective tissue, joints, bones, tendons, ligaments, cartilage and teeth.Both young dogs and performance dogs or aging dogs benefit from this “all-rounder” for the musculoskeletal system.No prescription is required for this product.

Effect and areas of application

Canina® CANHYDROX GAG supports the health of the musculoskeletal system in a variety of ways.It promotes callus formation, the elastic strength of the bone and the formation of strong tooth enamel.It also helps to shape straight extremities, prevents stiffness and loose joints and can prevent bone loss in old dogs.The ingredients it contains, such as green-lipped mussel meal, supply the connective tissue and articular cartilage with glycosaminoglycans (GAG), which increase the joint buffer function.The omega fatty acids support the musculoskeletal system and bone metabolism.

Vitamin C strengthens the connective tissue and ensures strong gums, while Silicea (silicic acid) supports all connective tissue structures such as tendons, ligaments and the claw horn.Vitamin E and selenium act as cell protection factors and help break down cell-destroying metabolic products.

Canina® CANHYDROX GAG is particularly suitable for problem cases such as disorders of the musculoskeletal system, deformed extremities (bow or knock-knees), patency, loose joints and weak connective tissue.It promotes the strengthening and tightening of tendons, ligaments and muscles, the development of a stable bone structure, strong teeth, firm gums and the hardening of tooth enamel.It also supports the healthy bone structure of medium and large breeds as well as giant breeds, whose joints and bones are exposed to increased stress due to their high weight.

In adult dogs, Canina® CANHYDROX GAG can be used to support performance dogs by promoting bone elasticity, preventing joint and movement problems in old age and supporting bone metabolism after surgical procedures.

Application

Feeding recommendation per animal and day:

Young dogs from the 8th week of life:

For prevention: 2 tablets per 10kg of body weight (maximum 16 tablets) up to 15 months of age.

For deformed extremities: 4 tablets per 10kg of body weight (maximum 16 tablets) for at least 4 months, after which 2 tablets per 10kg of body weight are sufficient.

Aging dogs: 4 tablets per 10kg body weight (maximum 16 tablets).

Performance dogs: 2 tablets per 10kg body weight - 2 weeks before and during the performance phase.

After bone fractures: 4 tablets per 10kg of body weight (maximum 16 tablets) - during the healing process.

The specified feeding recommendation must not be exceeded.

Ingredients

Composition: 30% dicalcium phosphate, yeast, 10% green-lipped mussel meat (Perna canaliculus), sea algae, magnesium oxide.

Ingredients: Crude ash 35.2%, calcium 8.6%, crude protein 20.0%, crude fat 4.4%, crude fiber 1.1%, phosphorus 3.7%, methionine 1.1%.

Additives per kg: Vitamin C 100,000mg, Vitamin E (as alpha-tocopherol acetate) 10,000mg, Selenium 12mg.
