Payagastron® is a homeopathic medicine for the improvement of stomach complaints. It contains the active ingredients Apomorphinum hydrochloricum Dil. D8, Artemisia absinthium Ø, Semecarpus anacardium Dil. D2 and Strychnos nux-vomica Dil. D4. The medicinal product is used in the form of drops for oral use. The dosage of the medicine varies according to the condition. In acute conditions, it is recommended to take 5 drops every half to full hour, maximum 6 times a day. For chronic conditions, it is recommended to take 5 drops 1-3 times a day. The frequency of use can be reduced when the symptoms improve. It is important that homeopathic medicines, including Payagastron®, should not be taken over a long period of time without medical advice. Payagastron® should be kept out of the reach of children and should not be used after the expiry date which is stated on the label. No special storage conditions are required. The medicinal product contains 51% alcohol by volume. Side effects and risks are listed in the package leaflet, so this should be read before use. In case of persistent symptoms, vomiting or blackening of the stool, a doctor should be consulted.
