The Terumo Finetouch disposable lancets are equipped with a special design that significantly reduces the sensation of pain when piercing.The lancet cannula is protected by a plastic housing both before and after puncture, minimizing the risk of accidental needlestick injuries.Each lancet is intended for one-time use.The trigger mechanism is only activated again when a new lancet is inserted.These lancets are only compatible with the Terumo Finetouch lancing device type S.

Application

The lancet is inserted into the lancing device with a simple handle.An audible “click” signals that the device is ready for use.

First, the desired puncture depth is set using the dial.The lancet is then pushed firmly into the device until it stops, whereby a clear “click” can be heard.The orange protective cap is twisted and pulled off.To take blood, the lancet is pressed lightly against the skin and the trigger button (PUSH) is pressed.After use, the lancet is removed and safely disposed of in a designated container.

Notes

The lancets should be protected from extreme temperatures and moisture when stored.They must be kept out of the reach of children.After a single use, the lancets should be disposed of safely to avoid the risk of infection.
