Directions for use Nobacervix cotton wool tampon 4 cm, non-sterile Nobacervix gauze wadding tampons 4 cm are non-sterile wadding tampons which are used to absorb blood from the uterus, for example during perineal suturing. Before use, the tampons must be sterilised using a validated procedure. The round tampon with a diameter of 4 cm consists of an cotton wool core covered with gauze. It is suitable for wound care during gynaecological procedures. The Nobacervix tampon is intended for single use and must be sterilised before use on open wounds. Sterilisation can be performed by moist heat at 121°C/134°C, 2 to 3 bar, according to DIN EN 17665, radiation according to DIN EN ISO 11137 or ethylene oxide according to DIN EN ISO 11135.
