Information for use of the article ENDOSGEL: Composition: - 100 ml gel contains: Sodium (RS) lactate 1568.7 mg, clorhexidine digluconate 50.6 mg, methyl 4-hydroxybenzoate 60.7 mg, propyl 4-hydroxybenzoate 25.3 mg. - Other ingredients: Hyetellose, purified water Indications: - Electroresection and coagulation - Transurethal endoscopic surgery - Transvaginal endoscopic procedures - Stricture clefts - Bladder neck resection (prostate resection) - Tumour coagulation, resection of the bladder - Intermittent catheterisation - Endourological procedures - Rectal interventions Properties: - Sterile lubricant with electrical conductivity in the physiological range. - Adheres well to the mucosa - Excellent gliding properties - Clear view of the instruments - Disinfecting and antiseptic effect - Note: Germ count reduces after 5 to 10 minutes Contraindications: - Hypersensitivity to alkyl 4-hydroxybenzoates (parabens), clorhexidine or any other ingredient. Side effects: - Skin symptoms in case of hypersensitivity - Very rare: Contact dermatitis or blister irritation. Interactions and other warnings: - No known interactions Special precautions for use: - Long-term use after consultation with a doctor due to the clorhexidine content.
