Instructions for use of the article "Dynacast Prelude 12,5 cmx4,6 m": - Dynacast Prelude is a splint system made of synthetic fibreglass material. - It is used for the support and immobilisation of fresh fractures and soft tissue injuries. - The system allows early mobilisation. - Dynacast Prelude provides good fixation of the injury due to its high strength and stability. - The material is light and easy to handle and offers high patient comfort due to its padding on both sides. - It consists of a high-strength, 1-ply knitted fibreglass core and is particularly conformable to reduce wrinkling and pressure points. - The splint system consists of fibreglass fabric coated with polyurethane resin and polypropylene padding on both sides. - Areas of application are distortions, soft tissue, capsule or ligament injuries, tendon injuries, fresh fractures and for supporting soft tissue injuries and fissures. - It is particularly suitable for the upper extremities. - The duration of application can range from a few days to several weeks. - The package contains 1 piece. - Source: www.bsnmedical.de (as of 04/2015)
